DE Icod de los Vinos - a typical old Canarian city located in the north of the island of Tenerife. The main attraction of this city is the Dragon Tree. It is believed that the age of this tree is more than a thousand years. Icod de los Vinos is located amid hilly slopes on which grow vineyards, plantations of bananas. Almost from all points of this zone you can see the majestic Teide volcano and the horizon merges with the ocean. Here are some of the best wineries of the island. No wonder Icod de los Vinos owes his name to the name. This symbol is reflected on the coat of arms of the city.This is a very interesting city with traditional architecture, impressive mansions, ancient churches and of course wooden Spanish balconies. For the north of the island there is a fairly mild climate. Even in the winter months, there is enough sun and heat. In addition to the indigenous population, many European residents live in this city and its surroundings. This is a very popular place where you can swim in the ocean all year round and bask in the sun on cozy small beaches. Numerous attractive cottages are pleased with more spacious dimensions, in comparison with the real estate of the southern coast.
